Who we are

This website is operated by Forge Creative (“we”). You can reach us through the contact form.

What we collect, and why

Early-access list

When you join the early-access list we store:

• your email address (required);
• your name, if you give one;
• your primary creative interest and operating system;
• the consent statement you agreed to, and when you agreed;
• whether you have confirmed your address or unsubscribed, and when.

We use this to send occasional development and early-access emails, and to understand which disciplines and platforms matter most. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing.

Contact messages

When you use the contact form we store your name, email address, subject, and message so we can read and answer it.

Feedback

When you send feedback we store the feedback type, the application it concerns (if any), your message, and your name and email if you choose to give them. Feedback is never published.

Abuse prevention

To limit spam and abuse, we count recent form submissions per connection. We never store your IP address itself: we store a keyed one-way hash of it in short-lived counters that expire within minutes. Forms also contain a hidden field that only automated bots fill in.

Server logs

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, which can include IP addresses and browser details, for security and operations. We don't use them for marketing.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent personal information.
• We don't use advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies.
• We don't add you to any list you didn't ask to join.

Email delivery

If email delivery is enabled, we use an email service provider to send confirmation and update emails on our behalf. It processes your email address only to deliver our messages. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.

Analytics

By default, this site runs no analytics. If we enable analytics, we will use a privacy-friendly, cookieless service that does not track you across sites, and we will update this page.

How long we keep information

• Early-access records: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of the opt-out so we don't email you again, unless you ask for full deletion.
• Contact messages and feedback: as long as needed to handle them and to keep a reasonable record of the conversation.
• Abuse-prevention counters: minutes.

Security

Submissions are stored in an access-controlled database. Only authorized Forge Creative administrators can view them, through a password-protected admin area. Confirmation and unsubscribe links use random tokens that are stored only as one-way hashes.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, use the contact form and choose “Other”. We may need to confirm that the request comes from the owner of the email address.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date above.
